BENYLIN® Infant’s Cough Syrup is a treatment that helps to relieve the effects of a cough. The active ingredient of this syrup is glycerol. Glycerol is a lubricant that soothes the mouth and throat and reduces the effects of a dry, tickly cough.
HOW TO USE
Do not give to babies under 3 months.
Children 3 - 12 months: One 5ml spoonful
Children 1 - 5 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls
Give the dose 3 or 4 times within 24 hours, if needed. Do not use more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
INGREDIENTS
Active Ingredients: Each 5ml of liquid contains 0.75ml of Glycerin
Other Ingredients: Purified water, malitol liquid (E965), citric acid, hydroxyethylcelluose, sodium citrate and sodium benzoate. The flavour is apple
